Stone Technologies is a family owned business fabricating and installing custom countertops for over 20 years. Gaetano "Guy" Fodera became the President of the business in 1997 and is actively involved in all of the day-to-day operations. In 2004, company headquarters were moved from Medford, Massachusetts to 5 Draper Street in Woburn. The 50,000 square foot facility provides much needed space and includes a large showroom filled with samples and exhibits. It also serves as a function room for many events and seminars hosted by Stone Technologies. The indoor slab warehouse displays full slabs of granite, marble, soapstone, onyx and limestone. It provides an excellent opportunity for customers to select their material and view the unique texture, movement and color patterns that exist, before the countertops are fabricated and installed. The warehouse also features engineered stone and eco friendly materials. A resource center is available for designers and architects to meet with their clients.
Stone Technologies takes pride in its reputation for fabricating a quality product and providing excellent customer service. Its loyal customer base is diverse and includes the retail customer, kitchen and bath dealers, architects, designers, contractors, home improvement centers, commercial developers, elevator companies and others.
The company is a true turn-key operation. The in-house purchasing staff maintain relationships with quarry owners worldwide and import first quality exotic and standard materials from Italy, Africa, Brazil, Turkey and India. The on-site fabrication shop cuts, shapes and edges the stone to order specifications. Stone technicians operate machinery equipped with the latest technology next to stone artisans who fabricate jobs entirely by hand, they way it has been done for hundreds of years. Each custom product is delivered to the customer and installed by experienced, professional installation teams. The company’s vast project portfolio includes multi-unit projects, residential homes, commercial developments, retail showroom displays, hotels, restaurants, outdoor living environments and lightweight stone panels used in elevators and other weight restricted applications. |
